Tommy Lee began the study of Judo
at age 7 and Karate at 17, and now has approximately 400 students
at his main studio in Annapolis, Maryland.
He has been consulting for over 10
years to both small studios and major companies, and speaks on an
array of topics from telephone and introductions, buddy referrals
and special events, to overcoming objections and closing.
He has spoken at conventions for
Andrew Wood, John Graden and APS. He trains people on upgrading
memberships, cashing out and internal production issues, and has
worked with small studio owners, as well as studios with over 1,000
students America's Best Karate with Hilery Sandavol in El Paso,
Texas, and Fred Degegerger's Academy in Chicago.
Lee, who is best know for his sales
techniques, says that the key to mastering the sale is to develop
a specific plan that addresses every possible occurrence involved
in the sales process. In his seminars, Lee discusses these plans
in detail and provides challenging and useful information on improving
school enrollment.
